The horizontal axis wind turbine (HAWT) design with low speed requires blade geometry selection. analysis uses the potential flow panel method and integral boundary layer formulation to analyze around airfoil. element momentum (BEM) theory has an aerodynamic coefficient value along blade. Power calculates model shear pressure at each This research aims determine rotor based on performance, including power coefficient, tip ratio, power, rpm. simulation airfoil NACA 4412 which optimal lift (Cl) = 1.92 190 pitch of angle, drag (Cd) 0.0635 130 angle Cl / Cd 155 tilt 40. Five models 2.5 m diameter blades different angles for chord. test results show that change in ratio affects so experiment 5 is 0.56, rotation per minute output 4 a 374 rpm 553 W.
